Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had returned without visiting the popular Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain over security stresses.

Bhopal: Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt confronted fights at a sanctuary on their visit to Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain to advance their super film “Brahmastra Part-1: Shiva” on Tuesday. The couple, who are expecting a child, turned around without visiting the well known Mahakaleshwar Temple over security stresses in the midst of fights north of a 11-year-old remark by Ranbir Kapoor. The movie’s chief, Ayan Mukherji, later visited the sanctuary with the Brahmastra group to “take the favors of Lord Shiva”.

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra today rejected that the star couple had been halted from visiting the sanctuary and guaranteed that authorities had rather mentioned them to go for it. “Nobody prevented them from offering petitions, they settled all alone not to go there. The Ujjain organization has advised me about whole episode. The couple was mentioned by the organization to go on to offer supplications. There was sufficient security, however they chose to not go there. Nobody halted them,” he said.

The fights include Ranbir Kapoor saying in 2011 that he enjoys hamburger. “I’m a lamb, paya, beef…red meat fellow. I’m a major meat fellow,” he had said during a meeting.

Individuals from the Bajrang Dal, which is connected to the state’s decision BJP as a feature of the Sangh Parivar, accumulated at the sanctuary challenged the remark, which has been flowing via virtual entertainment. They held dark banners and notices and yelled trademarks against the film star.

The police came in to scatter the dissenters and some were even thumped.

Because of VIP development at the sanctuary, we were accepting security calls and the nonconformists were approached to remain behind the blockading, a part from Bajrang Dal came and began penetrating the security because of which we needed to take the accompanying security calls,” said OP Mishra, a cop.

A few web-based entertainment clients have been recovering Ranbir Kapoor’s old meetings and this remark has ignited a gigantic kickback. Posts have arisen with the hashtag #BoycottBrahmastra on Twitter.

Shiv Sena pioneer Priyanka Chaturvedi censured the fights and designated Prime Minister Narendra Modi in her post.

Sharing a viral photograph of Bollywood entertainers with PM Modi, Ms Chaturvedi expressed, “No part of this photograph operation will help in the event that you’ll keep on being quiet observers to detest and trust it’s not your business to talk legislative issues. At any rate, they will come after you. Mahakaleshwar sanctuary fights in Ujjain is a valid example. Disgrace that political bias is prompting such offensiveness.”
